Principles:
The "Hong(2)" "紅" Principle.
-It means that someone is popular but not "hen youming" popular. Its like being "liked" popular. Fore example, everyone knows Osama bin laden but he's not liked that much. So he's "hen youming", but he's "bu hong". Another example is Brad Pitt. He's "hen youming" and "hen hong".
-One other thing with the "hong" principle is that it can be on a Macro or Micro scale. The Brad Pitt example is a good example of a Macro scale example. But as in a Micro scale example. Let's just say I'm good at basketball at my high school. At my own high school I'm "hen hong", but anywhere else I'm "meiyou ming". I'm just popular and liked at my school nowhere else. Yeah I think that's how it goes. So yeah that's the "hong" principle. It just means "being liked popular".
